According to you, what are companies losing if they do not invest in modern data stack?

I believe there is value to be gained by a lot of organisations by investing in the Cloud Data Stack. I believe there is a large amount of cost hidden in the current Modern Data Stack. Time will tell us if the value out weighs the cost for the majority of organisations or not. - Edited
